Built for the long game

Session sixteen remembers session one.

Most AI text adventures forget you by the second evening. Here every session ends with the world writing down what changed, you approving it, and the next opening scene picking the story up exactly where it stands. Relationships keep their history. Stale facts get replaced. Nothing you pinned is ever dropped.

The Cinderhall Tavern

The Cinderhall Tavern

New memory

Kael, keeper of the brass key, agreed to help you. For a price.

Bram the Tapster owes you for the cellar.

Session 9

The Broken North Bridge

New memory

The north bridge collapsed. You chose the key.

Relationship changed

Kael trusts you

Kael blames you for the bridge

The Ash Cathedral

Session 15

The Ash Cathedral

Pinned

Kael has sworn to see you answer for the bridge.

New memory

Sister Veil knows what is under the censers.

Session 16 opens

4 memories in scene

Forty-one days without rain. The cathedral steps are empty but for ash, and a man in a grey hood who has not moved since the bells.

“You came back,” Kael says, and does not reach for the key. “I still owe you for the bridge.”

Every opening scene is seeded by your last three session summaries and the memories you kept.

Before you jump in

A few useful answers.

No technical homework required.

Is this a game or a chatbot?
A text adventure, written in prose. You play one character and type what they do; the narrator plays everyone else and the world around you. Call it interactive fiction or AI roleplay if you like. No dice, no stats, no menus of choices, and it is not a one-to-one chat.
Do I have to build a world first?
No. Import an official world, create your character and start. The copy is yours to change later, or build a world of your own from scratch.
Will it remember everything?
No AI can promise that. Wendfar writes memories down as you play, shows you what it used for each turn, and lets you edit, pin or discard any of it. The next session opens already knowing your story.
Can I try it for free?
Yes. The free plan gives you a daily allowance of turns with no card required. Paid plans add more turns, premium narrators and deeper memory. See the plans for the current limits.
